IMV imaging Service Contracts… More than just an annual service
Did you know that IMV imaging Service Contracts offer much more than just ensuring the longevity of your equipment?
If you have just taken out a service contract on your imaging equipment, or you are considering a service contract, it is important to know what options are available to you. The article below will go through and explain the different levels of service contracts that IMV imaging offer to customers as well as explaining how the planned maintenance service process works.
At IMV imaging, we understand the importance of looking after your imaging equipment to keep it in optimum working condition and we believe strongly that having your equipment serviced annually is key to this. We will provide the first year’s service agreement free of charge with your imaging equipment so that you can have peace of mind and enjoy the benefits that a service agreement offers. This will include an annual service, free phone and remote support and priority of our free of charge loan equipment for customers under contract.
Your annual service will be carried out by a qualified IMV imaging Service Engineer who will check over your equipment to ensure that it meets the manufacturer and any regulatory guidelines.
What is the right type of contract for your equipment?
There is no right or wrong answer with regards to which contract is right for you. This comes down to your individual requirements and how you use your equipment.
IMV imaging offer four levels of service cover and can tailor a service contract to meet your needs and requirements.
e.g. you can have one piece of equipment on an essential maintenance contract and another item on a full enhanced service contract depending on your requirements. This is something we would discuss with you prior to any service contracts being signed.

When will my equipment be serviced?
One of our friendly Service Administrators will contact you around month 10 of your service contract to arrange your annual service. This can be done either at your practice by your local Field Service Engineer or at one of our Service Centres.
What happens after my service?
Once the engineer has serviced your equipment, they will go through the service report with you and advise of any preventative maintenance work required or anything that needs urgent attention. You will also receive a copy of the service report and further documentation relating to any generator safety checks carried out.
What happens if I have a breakdown?
In the event your equipment breaks down, you can call our Service Centre 24/7 365 days a year, where one of our experienced Service Engineers will be able to assist through remote diagnostics or we can arrange for a local Field Service Engineer to attend your practice.
If you have any questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the IMV imaging service team.
