IVNA Congress 2024
Pre Congress Preparations
We are getting close now to the IVNA Congress 2024, which will be held on 25th & 26th of May @ Clayton Hotel Silver Springs, Cork.
We are attending as exhibitors for the first time. We will be arriving down on Friday afternoon so that we are ready to set up our stand bright and early on Saturday. I am really looking forward to catching up with the nurses and showing them what we have to offer.
It will be really nice to put faces to the names of some of the nurses I’ve been speaking to over the past year and a half when booking services, taking orders and arranging collections of equipment coming in for repair
We will have details of the extensive consumables range that we have for ultrasound, x-ray and endoscopy. We will be delighted to chat to the nurses about servicing and maintenance of equipment and what we can offer them.
Today I am making a list of what I need to bring with me. Katie in our marketing team has shipped a parcel to me which I will get later this week. There will be lots of goodies in it for us to give away at the stand.
Plans are in place for an interactive competition on the stand where nurses can test their clinical skills. Orders have been placed for the items needed to create the competition and to make up the hamper prize. Some of the items on my shopping list are food colouring, fruit, cellophane, plastic containers and chocolate.
Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month
Because May is veterinary nurse awareness month, we will also have an opportunity on the stand for nurses to win a veterinary nurse ultrasound course. We do of course have the 20% off practical and online nurse ultrasound courses during May. Just use the code “VNaware2024”, the code is valid 18/4/24 – 7/6/24.
Looking forward to …
I am really looking forward to attending some of the lectures on offer which you can see in the congress brochure. I am particularly interested in the medical stream this year on Saturday and the bandaging stream on Sunday. And of course, not forgetting the social evening and veterinary nurse awards on Saturday evening.
Looking forward to meeting with everyone in just two and a half weeks.
