My scanner is overheating
Try to keep Ultrasound scanners away from animals when shaving them as the hair get caught in the fans causing the overheating.
What is the main cause for component overheating on ultrasound scanners?
An accumulation of dust and animal hair that is sucked into the machine by the cooling fans. To avoid this, try to use the scanner in a clean environment and away from hair clippings.
How do I keep my PC healthy and running at a consistent speed?
Restart your PC at least once a week this will give the customer consistent speeds and help prevents system from crashing.
What should I use to clean my scanner keyboard with?
You should use anti-static foam cleaner applied to a cloth ensuring just enough is applied before cleaning the keyboard
Who is responsible for our images/data if a system breaks down
All customer data is the responsibility of you the customer. We suggest you back your images up on a regular basis.
My scanner is freezing from time to time and performing sluggishly

Why is my keyboard not/partially working
Keep all liquids away from the keyboard, use keyboard protectors where possible.
How can I prevent miss fires when taking x ray shots?
Ensure you have correctly prepped the generator.
Firstly, depress the first section of your two phase trigger and wait for the prep light to illuminate, then you are ready to depress the second section of your trigger. Make sure you hold it down until the audible alarm is finished, this will help prevent miss fires.
How can we avoid fluid ingress into our ultrasound scanner?
Be vigilant when using ultrasound gels and specifically gloves as they can mask the feeling of fluid on your hands, the keyboard section is a particularly vulnerable area to guard.
How should my portable imaging equipment be stored when not in use?
All equipment should switched off, following the manufacturer’s guidelines and stored at room temperature (not in car overnight) preferably in the bag/case it was purchased with.
How do I prevent screens from getting stuck in the vita processor?
Clean screens and rollers on a monthly basis.
