Our IMV imaging Service team are always here to help you with your diagnostic imaging equipment.
We have a team of highly qualified Service Engineers, with expertise in the areas of hardware, software, electrical engineering and IT/ Networking. Their aim is to ensure that your imaging equipment is in optimal working condition to support you with your diagnostic imaging needs.
Our equipment is tough and reliable, but in the unlikely event of an emergency breakdown. Our engineers are on hand to support you , when you need it most. IMV imaging engineers are trained to exceptional standards and we have an unrivalled range of loan equipment to minimise your downtime.
We are fully available to carry out maintenance servicing on your equipment. And regular servicing by our team will ensure that your equipment is checked and serviced to high standards. And any minor issues are resolved before they turn into more serious problems.
Our Remote Support Team have technology at their disposal. Which enables them to support our customers remotely to get them back up and running as quickly as possible. We offer 24/7 Out of Hours Remote Support for emergencies. So you can have peace of mind, no matter the time of day or night.
Our Engineers have valuable experience in working with diagnostic imaging equipment. And enjoy supporting our customers to provide the very best in animal care.
Our Administrators ensure that your contracts, plans and servicing are up to date and organised in a way to best suit your needs.

Sean Stevenson – Head of Companion Animal Technical Services
“I have worked at IMV imaging since September 2009. As the Head of Companion Animal Technical Services, I fundamentally lead the UK Service team. But will be responsible for supporting the determination of the strategic direction. And inspiring the operational efficiency of the IMV imaging service businesses. In conjunction with the service managers across other imaging subsidiaries. When I am not working, I enjoy travelling and getting out on my bike. Seeing some of the sights Scotland has to offer.”
Lindsay Miller – Service Centre Supervisor
” I joined IMV in April 2022 and manage the remote and hardware service team. I come from a background in medical technology. Where i’ve worked as a Regional Service Manager. I’ve managed remote teams in the UK and Ireland. Outwith work I enjoy playing golf and spending time with family, friends and my 2 cats Huey and Mylo.”
Bryan Ross – IT Service Engineer T3
“I joined IMV Imaging in May 2018. After graduating with a BSc in Web and Mobile Application Development from the University of the West of Scotland.
I work within the IT Service Support team and I’m responsible for providing remote and telephone support for X-ray, ultrasound and PACS equipment to all our customers. We are typically the first point of call should any issues occur. With any imaging equipment and aim to provide a swift and accurate solution. I have previously worked for Vodafone and Clydesdale bank providing remote and hardware support across a large portfolio of products.
In my spare time I enjoy long walks and trips to the cinema with my friends and family.”
Thomas Hoey – Tier 2 Remote Support Engineer
“I joined IMV imaging in March 2019, having been attracted to the role of IT Service Support Engineer within the company’s highly experienced and dedicated service department. My keen interest in IT grew from fixing laptops and PCs for friends and family. Which was then followed by me obtaining an NQ in Computer Troubleshooting. I then followed that by gaining an HNC in Computer Networking, which enabled me to pursue a career in IT.
I am looking forward to working with the Service Department. Learning the role IT plays within veterinary imaging and becoming an integral member of the Service Support Team.
Out with work I love to keep fit through running, cycling or playing amateur football. And also enjoy spending time with my fiancée and 2 children.”
Jamie McMullen – Senior Service Engineer
“I have worked at IMV imaging since May 2016. I have a degree in mechatronics. (mixture of Mechanical and Electrical engineering). And I use my knowledge in my role as a Senior Service Engineer within IMV imaging. I am responsible for repairing and servicing of ultrasound and X-ray equipment that is sent to the UK Service Centre. I follow a process of assessing the equipment that is sent in, detailing repairs that are required and carrying out these repairs within a set turnaround time to return equipment in optimum working order quickly to customers. I also work with our 3rd party suppliers to further develop my expertise on the products, undergoing product training regularly.
When I am not working, I like to spend time with my fiancée, family and friends.”
Lewis Simpson – Apprentice IS Remote Support Service Engineer
“I joined IMV on the 27th of September 2021.
I work within the support team to remotely resolve customer issues via email, telephone, and remote diagnostics software. Prior to this I studied for an HNC in Web Development at college.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy attending horse racing meetings and football matches.”
Jamie Stewart – IT Service Engineer T1
“I joined IMV Imaging in February 2021, after completing my HND Networking at New College Lanarkshire. I work in the Service department and worked for HMRC for 16 years before leaving to pursue my dream of working in IT. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 children and like to relax playing video games.“
Stewart Farrow – Service Engineer
“I joined the IMV imaging team in January, 2021.
My role within the department is to service, repair and maintain X-ray and Ultrasound equipment.
I have over 26 years working in the Print/Photocopier industry.
I have been married for 28 years with one daughter. I also enjoy Golf and Motorcycling.”
Jack McDonald – Junior Service Engineer
“I joined IMV imaging in 2017. After graduating from high school, I was delighted to have the opportunity to join IMV imaging with an apprenticeship, as I had a keen interest in engineering.
I successfully completed my apprenticeship and will now continue to develop my skills within the junior engineer role, taking responsibility for servicing IMV imaging scanners as well as 3rd party ultrasound and X-ray equipment and continuing to learn from other Service Engineers.
When I’m not at work, I like to go to the football with my friends and going to the gym.”
Michael Costello – Field Service Manager
“I joined IMV imaging in May 2021.
As a Field Service Manager, I manage all UK based field service engineers. I am also responsible to help grow our UK Field Service business. I was a Service Supervisor at Xerox for 4 and a half years prior to joining IMV.
Out with work, I’m married with 2 kids, enjoy coaching my son’s football team as well as going to the gym.”
Graham Anderson – Senior Field Service Engineer
“I have worked for IMV imaging since 2004. As a Senior Field Service Engineer, I provide planned maintenance and breakdown support for X-ray, ultrasound, CT and PACs systems throughout the UK. I work as part of the highly experienced IMV imaging Service Team to deliver timely and efficient technical solutions and support to the veterinary market. Out with work, I spend time with my partner and daughter as well as doing some DIY, playing music and keeping fit.”
Peter Walton – Field Service Engineer
“I joined IMV Imaging in September 2015.
I am based in the central region of the UK and provide field service support for ultrasound and X-ray equipment. As a highly experienced electrical and electronics engineer I bring a wealth of experience, having specialised in diagnostic imaging.
I am married with two children and enjoy most sport, particularly football, skiing and cycling and the occasional round of golf.”
Andy Thurbon – Senior Field Service Engineer
“I have worked with IMV Imaging since January 2017 and carry out PMA preventative maintenance to keep your imaging equipment in perfect shape.
I bring nearly 30 years’ experience in various electrical and electronic industries and have always enjoyed the customer facing nature of my role meeting lots of interesting people.
Outside of work I like to spend time with my family, travelling, going to music concerts and walking my crazy sprocker Frank.”
Matt Crittall – Field Service Engineer
“I joined IMV imaging in January 2020. My role involves the servicing, maintenance, repair and installation of ultrasound, x-ray and PACs systems to a high standard.
Previously I worked for Philips healthcare where I was a Medical Imaging FSE in the human sector for nearly 6 years, working on ultrasound. X-ray and mammography. Prior to this I travelled Australia and Asia with my partner after leaving the army where I served nearly 6 years. This saw me completing 3 Operational Tours of Iraq and Afghanistan. As a Non Commissioned Officer I was responsible for lower ranking servicemen as well as the servicing, maintenance and breakdowns of various sophisticated military vehicles, high tech signal equipment and various other electronic equipment.
Outside of work I often take my dog out on adventures with my partner. I enjoy travelling whether it be in the UK or somewhere exotic. I have a passion for football.”
Laura Flannagan – Service Administrator
“I joined IMV imaging in December 2017. I am responsible for arranging and renewing PMA Contracts for Scotland and the North of England. I have previously worked for Hobart UK, where I was Dispatch Supervisor, responsible for ensuring that the dispatch department ran smoothly alongside running a team of engineers in Scotland, North of England and the Midlands to ensure that site visits and breakdown calls were attended to in a timely manner In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching films and spending time with friends and family. I have a keen interest in Psychology and enjoy crime programmes.”
Pamela Stewart – Service Administrator
“I have worked at IMV imaging since June 2015. I have a DipHE in Business Studies and over 25 years’ experience in Administration/Office Management. I am responsible for the management of Planned Maintenance Agreements and plan and organise the diaries of our Field Service Engineers as well as helping with customer queries.
When I am not working I enjoy walking, swimming and spending time with my family and friends, and cheering on my sons at their football matches.”
John Harding – Service Manager – IE
“I joined IMV imaging in April 2013 and my role at IMV imaging is the manager of the customer care and service departments in our Irish office in Gormanston, Co. Meath.
I also help fulfil the service requirements of our ultrasound and X-ray systems by performing on-site repairs.
When not at work I am busy with my wife and three young children where we enjoy GAA, zoos, wildlife parks, theme parks and Leg. Other than that I enjoy motorsports of all types.”
Gerry O’Hagan – Field Service Engineer
“As a Field Service Engineer, I provide customers with high quality servicing of their equipment covering the north half of Ireland. I have previously worked as a field service engineer for a hospital (X-ray and Medical Equipment).
Out of work, I’m married with 4 grown up kids. I like to build guitar kits and have 5 guitars which I attempt to play. I also attempt to play tin whistle, harmonica and enjoy brewing my own wine. As well as cycling and participating in charity fundraising rides.”
Patrick Meath – In-house Service Engineer – IE
“I joined the IMV imaging team in May 2022.
I work in the Ireland office where, my role within the department is to service, repair and maintain X-ray and Ultrasound equipment. I also help fulfil the service requirements of our customers by performing on-site repairs.”
