Meet the IMV imaging Clinical Team
We at IMV imaging are here to help you with your diagnostic imaging needs.
As a team of vets and imaging professionals, our Clinical team understand the struggles and frustrations that our customers face and as such, work hard to create useful clinical resources that support vets in their day to day work and educational journeys. From webinars and clinical articles to how-to videos and handy posters. The team have and continue to create a wealth of resources for vets working across small animal, equine and farm animal imaging.
Check out the Academy section of our website to access our full collection of clinical resources and for a handy place to keep the content to hand, sign up for a free MyIMV account, where you can also set your marketing communications preferences.
A bit about us
Sam Mauchlen – Clinical Applications Team Manager

I joined IMV imaging in 2019 and I am here to help through developing and delivering clinical learning materials for our customers, as well as organising and teaching our CPD courses.
After graduating from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2006, I worked in a mixed practice where I developed my interest in diagnostic imaging, particularly ultrasound.
In my spare time I enjoy walking, swimming and the occasional run. When I am not doing those things, I may be found chilling out with my cat or to improve my ability as a guitarist.
Amy Haylock – Clinical Manager

I provide education and training to users of our animal imaging equipment, all over the UK but with a bias towards Scotland and the North.
I graduated from Bristol vet school in 2012 with an intercalated degree in Veterinary Pathology from the RVC. I have worked in all kinds of practices as a locum vet, from 90% farm animal to 100% small animal, with a year in government working for APHA. I have worked all over the UK.
Outside of work, I love being outside, hiking and running in the hills. I really enjoy yoga and mindfulness practice. I am a huge foodie and like to spend evenings batch cooking and baking.
Jake Thomas – Clinical Manager

My role as part of the clinical team involves teaching ultrasonography at course days, producing learning materials to accompany IMV products and providing clinical support for IMV colleagues and customers.
I graduated from the university of Nottingham Vet School in 2018. Over the last 5 years I have worked in a range of small animal practices in Cornwall and Wiltshire. I have always had a keen interest in imaging but primarily ultrasonography.
In my free time I enjoy hiking and exploring the Cotswolds with my 2 dogs Albert and Dudley. I am a keen cook and enjoy cooking up a feast to share with family and friends.
More than just imaging
We at IMV imaging support veterinary professionals in a variety of ways and our excellent Clinical team of experts is just one of ways. However, we also offer innovative, high quality equipment, superb servicing as well as a host of clinical resources ranging from positioning posters, to webinars, to podcasts to highly interactive and hands on CPD courses.
