This month, IMV vet Amy will be exploring two papers which describe and validate Calf Thoracic Lung Ultrasound for detection of pneumonia. Firstly, Amy will describe the method as detailed by Ollivett and Buczinski, 2016, and present images from this paper to explain the rational behind Calf Thoracic Ultrasound. Amy will then explore a 2019 paper which aims to validate the technique for detection of active pneumonia.
